• Seal Island (1 km) - About a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. It will take you on a cruise for approximatley one and half hours out to seal island.
• Treasures of the Earth (2 km) - An attractive centre of different types of gem stones.
• Ben Nevis (3 km) - Take a trip to the foot of the highest mountain in Britain or if you wish you can walk up.
• Nevis Range (6 km) - Nevis Range is our nearest ski resort which has a variety of thing to do at all levels.

We have 2 restaurants within the hotel. The main restaurant serves a 3-course table d'hote menu and our Foodstop restaurant is all individually priced

Travelling from the north
 
Take the A82 into Fort William following signs for the town centre. Keep on this road and follow signs for the town centre. You will come to a round-about, turn right and drive straight on, through the next round-about onto a dual carraigeway. The Alexandra is on your left hand side, so youll need to veer left and then turn immediately right to get into the car park, where youll find plenty of spaces.
 
Travelling from the south
 
Take the A82 into Fort William and you will come to a round-about by the West-End Hotel. Follow signs for Inverness and this will take you onto a dual carriageway running alongside the waterfront When you reach the next round-about (across from Safeways), turn right and then right again into the car park of the Alexandra.
